Answers to frequently asked questions
-
if you love the sound of parts of this job and have queries or concerns about other parts, let's talk about it!
-
you would only work with babies if you have training and experience. If you prefer to work with preschool aged children and onwards, that is no problem. If you are wanting to gain experience working with babies we have opportunities to do that.
-
yes we do need a physio eager to work in the pool most days. We typically do some aquatic and land based sessions on most days. There is potential for this to be altered for more senior physio positions dependent upon wait list and current team make - up
-
we have capacity to take on full time physiotherapists but we are very happy to look at job share & flexible arrangements
-
this is an employed not a contracted position
-
our wait list is quite evenly spread between our Greensborough and Moonee Ponds bases at present. There is potential with our next recruitment to shift the majority of a caseload to the base nearest to physios' home
-
we have non - contact time scheduled into your day. We recognise this is a vital part of your clinical care, and we don't expect it to be 'volunteered' after hours
-
yes we are on top of the NDIS and helping families to make it work for them, as well as advocating for further improvement
-
we are happy to hear your questions and ideas! That's part of our team culture, we are always improving!
