Cerebral Palsy: a carer's journey
Free ebook resource
Have you read the book ‘You are Not Alone - A Carer's Journey?’’
It provides advice to parents and carers centred on a child’s early years, from birth to 6 years of age.
Written by carers, for carers
It was developed by Michelle Rhodes and Tanya Dennis, with support from the Cerebral Palsy League.
They felt compelled to share their experiences to help other families who care for children with disabilities to navigate through the disability services.
The authors and the Cerebral Palsy League are in Queensland, and disability services currently differ between states. However much of the information is potentially interesting and helpful to families living in other areas.
