Congratulations kinder kids!
Congratulations to all the Splash kids graduating from kinder!
You and your families have done and incredible job through this turbulent year.
This is is one of our mates, Carter, who had the crowd cheering for him as he climbed up onto the podium and walked across all on his own.

He is moving and reaching towards a book, and sun streams in through the window behind them. Shayna, the physio, smiles in the inset photo from the telehealth session.

There are many ways to be mobile, and one way is not better than another.
We celebrate all children's goals.
And this was one of Carter's.
He was getting close to taking a few steps when we had to go into the first Melbourne lockdown and we hadn't used much telehealth before with him and his family.
It was wonderful to see how we were able to support them to go through the stages of becoming more mobile, and to then translate those skills into kinder, play grounds and the community.
Very exciting stuff, congratulations and well done to you, your family, and your supportive kinder team!
